I have been an employee of Aetna Insurance for 21 years. It's a good company to work for and we have many opportunities to always learn something new there. I volunteered at church teaching catechism to high school students at St. Mary's in Sanger for 15 years. I learned just as much from them as I hope they learned from me. Volunteered as a mentor at Wishon Elementary School in Fresno for the past 2 years. It's been a great experience for me. Didn't require much of my time, just 1 hour a week. And sometimes I tried to look for excuses to not go. But it meant a lot to the student I mentored for me to be there and that made all the difference. Gotta say having to do 4th grade math again was tough but the art projects made up for it...LOL! I also had the opportunity to do some traveling in Europe. Visited Italy, France and Germany as a part of the Fresno Diocese group that attended World Youth Days in Paris with Pope John Paul II. It was amazing! Definitely want to go back to Rome and visit more cities in Italy. I take fun trips to Vegas at least twice a year with friends and family. Love the downtown area the best. They have cool concerts in the mall area and I can't get lost there. LOL! Spend time hanging out with my family and friends. We love to go Karaoke...can't sing...but it's good entertainment! Love having family and friends over to celebrate birthdays and holidays. Enjoy our family vacations to the coast. I am very fortunate to still have both my parents living. They are fun to have around and are a source of entertainment when it comes to karaoke. They both sing and they each have their own unique dance moves when doing so...it's a great time! Since I do not have any children I have been blessed with 4 nieces and 5 nephews who bring great joy to my life. I'm lucky to have them in my life. I also have two dogs, Patches (a lab) and Jewels (dauschand & chihuahua mix). They all keep me busy!
